Custodian/Store Helper

Job Description

The Work

• The Custodian is will be required to use cleaning supplies and equipment to keep the interior and portions of the exterior of the store looking clean and professional
• Respond to repair requests quickly and with a professional manner
• Adhere to the company’s safety policies to create a safe work environment for everyone
• Perform routing cleaning tasks based on a schedule created by the facility management team
• The Custodian is responsible for keeping a running inventory of all cleaning supplies and advise when supplies get low
• The successful candidate will be required to respond to repair calls for such activities as replacing a broken light, cleaning up a non-toxic spill and removing damaged office furniture.
• Reliable and able to work some weekends
• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 lbs. frequently
• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs. occasionally
• Ability to engage in prolonged standing and/or walking
• Ability to engage in frequent bending, stooping, and stretching
